Complaints & Grievances Policy
Last Updated: February 16, 2026
At Codergarten, we value feedback and take all concerns seriously. This policy ensures that any complaints or grievances from parents, students, or partners are handled fairly, transparently, and promptly.
1. Why we have this policy
At Codergarten, we value your feedback. This policy is our way of making sure that if you have a worry, we listen to you and fix it fairly and quickly. We want our STEAM sessions to be the best they can be.
2. If you are a student (Just for Kids!)
If you are unhappy about something at Codergarten, you don't need to keep it to yourself. You can:
- Tell your teacher: They are your "Support Crew" and are there to help.
- Tell a parent: They can talk to us for you.
- Talk to Rushabh: You can ask your teacher to help you call or email Rushabh (our Child Safety Officer).
No matter what you say, we will listen and we won't be angry. Your voice matters!
3. How to share a concern
For parents and partners, if something isn't right, please let us know:
- Informal: Chat with your educator at pick-up or drop-off.
- Formal: Send an email to Rushabh Shethia at [Enable JS to see email] .
- Escalation: If Rushabh is unavailable or is the subject of your concern, please contact Yachna Shethia at [Enable JS to see email] .
- What to tell us: Just let us know what happened, when it happened, and how we can make it right.
4. How we fix things together
We follow a simple 4-step plan to resolve worries:
- We say "Got it" (2 Days): We will let you know we've received your message.
- We look into it: We talk to the people involved and find out what happened.
- We make a plan: We decide what needs to change to fix the issue.
- We tell you the result (10 Days): We write to you to explain what we've done to make things better.
5. Keeping things private
- Privacy: We only tell the people who *need* to know so we can fix the problem.
- Record Keeping: We keep a private log of what happened so we can learn from it.
- No Grudges: Telling us about a problem will never change how we treat a student or a family. We are happy you told us!
6. Other places to get help
If you feel we haven't fixed the problem, you can talk to external groups like the Commission for Children and Young People (CCYP) or Consumer Affairs Victoria.
