Our Intention

SIMPLY,
POSSIBLE.

To empower the next generation of regional innovators by making the complex attainable for every child. We don't just bridge gaps; we power possibilities.

Our Story

It all started with a notion.

"Codergarten began with a simple notion: kids can learn coding, STEM, and complex concepts—if we just give them the right support."

So in 2016, with the help of a bunch of amazing people and organisations, we started—one messy, exciting, chaotic session at a time. Together with kids, we made robots dance, built websites, designed apps, and probably learned just as much as the little ones.

The TechLibrary Era

Then came TechLibrary, our STEM kit lending service, inspired by a visit to a fancy Melbourne school. We realised regional and rural schools in Victoria didn’t always have the resources—or the know-how—to give kids hands-on STEM experiences.

So we thought, why not lend them a hand… and some really cool kits?

Life's Other Plans

After more than 130 sessions, life, of course, had other plans. Our first kid arrived in 2019, COVID hit, and we had to hit pause. Then a little sister joined the crew in 2023, and life got… well, let’s just say, very full.

The 2025 Relaunch

By 2025, after countless debates, late-night chats, and cups of coffee, we decided it was time: Codergarten was coming back, bigger, better, and with more structure.

As parents of a 6- and 3-year-old, we’ve never been more convinced that this is worth it.

We continue to partner with local organisations and collaborate with industry professionals to co-design courses that are engaging, hands-on, and relevant to real-world careers.
