Course Description:

The App Lab is a programming environment where you can make simple apps. Design an app, code in JavaScript with either blocks or text, then share your app in seconds.


In CGC211 – Create your own Web App (using AppLab) curious students will learn to develop their own web applications using AppLab platform. While tinkering on AppLab, they will get the chance to explore the following projects: Educational flash cards, Digital Etch A Sketch App, Voting App and few more.


Course Goals & Learning Outcomes:

Conditional Statements + Logic: If this… then…? Basic logical operations (AND/OR) are used to create an arithmetic operation. Laying the foundation of computer science.

Web Programming: Students will have a greater understanding in web programming and the building blocks it needs to function.
